The club was formed over 50 years ago, shortly after the National club was formed in 1949. The club has members of all ages and experiences, and has members with well over 40 years membership.

History of the club
Produced by Gary Hodson and his daughter Dannielle. This article charts the highs and lows of the club from its formation to its 50th year. It includes photos. If any member has any more early photographs from shows, or just of members past; please get in touch, I can copy them and include them here for everyone. Utmost care will be taken and they will all be returned.
Illustrated breed standard
This is going to evolve over time, to include photographs of the colours, and more detailed explanations from our experienced fanciers to the meanings. Judges are lined up to comment on what qualities and faults they look for in a Netherland dwarf. This should build into a useful reference.
50 years of yearbook poetry
The club has been lucky over the years to produce some excellent poetry that was included almost annually in the yearbooks. This has been collated together for the Clubs 50 Anniversary, and the poem of the week can be found in the menu to the left. Keep coming back to see the new ones as they are released.
