The next decade 1963-1973
1965 support was allocated for Sunday shows.
1966 our 1st Intermediate Show was at Heywood & Middleton show, prize money remaining at 10, 6 and 3 shillings for a 2 shillings entry fee.
1968 the F. G. Woodgate show was added and the classification saw the sable class split into Marten and Siamese. Ken Beecroft became secretary.
1969 saw George Rhodes take over as President
1970 another show was added in the spring, it was held at Yarm now in the North East only a couple of miles out of our area. It had 75% prize money and an improved classification.
Subscription went up to 50p adults and 15p juveniles1971 there was 5 championships; a Sable shown by N. T. Webb, Sable shown by J. Newton, White shown by J. Grunshaw and 2 Torts shown by G. Hallaghan.
The spring show was at Honley Agricultural Show, NT Webb (whites) and G Hallaghan (colours) judging, the FG Woodgate show was at Pudsey, G Rhodes and K Beecroft, the YSS was at Bingley Agricultural Show K Smithey and R Bromley, the Intermediate at Pontefract E Slater and F Wainright whilst the ASS was at Rawdon A Rushforth and T Stratford, all 5 very close together in Yorkshire.1973, The Intermediate Show disappeared and the 1st one star support show was held in conjunction with the ASS based on an idea by Ken Hopkinson.
BIS at the ASS was Roy Walmsley with a Siamese Sable Fitzroy.

There were 14 championships; 5 REWs; KM Brook's Prince Michael, Jackson Stud's Harry, J Turnbull's Wee Geordie, R Grunshaw's Jo White, Mr Jackson Brown's White Boy, and Mrs K Elliot’s Snowball. 3 Siamese Sables; Miss H Arnold’s Wrangbrook Willie, NT Webb's Herbers Crackerjack, K Beecroft's Cassius and one for A Billam which did not have a name! 3 Marten Sables; F Boyd's Essex Rambler, Miss D Brook's Prince Marten, Jackson Stud's Skippy. 2 Torts; G Hallaghan's Pennine Treasure and Pennine Typhoon, 1 Black; K Beecroft's Spades. F. Wainwright, D. Smith and W. L. Shackleton were made life members.
Membership stood at 25.
