We recently recieved news of the passing of two wonderful dwarf fanciers

Ken Beecroft, one of our Vice Presidents has sadly passed away. Ken has been a member of the Northern dwarf for as long as I can remember, a very keen supporter of the club for many yaers, especially in his younger days. In fact, Ken was a former secreatry of the Northern Dwarf. I can still remember his good wishes when Deb and I took on the role, all those years ago. There are lots of gentlemen in the fancy, non more than Ken, always a kind word for everyone. He was unassuming yet very knowledgeable on all things to do with rabbits. His last judging engagement was at our YSS two years ago, I know he really enjoyed his day, and so did everyone who exhibited. Our condolences go to his family.

Frank Smith has also left us. Like Ken, Frank was loved by all who met him. he has had dwarfs for so many years, and loved nothing better than to talk about Dwarfs. His son Russell, and Frank were regular supporters of the dwarfs shows in the North of England until recently when Frank has not enjoyed the best of health, and Russell was there without him. testament to the type of man that he was, everyone's first questions was "how's Frank?" Russell kept us all informed of his improvment in health, and it was such a pity that Frank was not able to come with Russell on his first judging engagement, the President's show at York. Our condolences to Russell and family
